Our founder

Hi, I am Kelly Stensland, and I am the founder of The Barn Dallas. My love for horses started when I rode my best friend's pony in preschool, and that moment has shaped my life ever since. I have competed up to the National Grand Prix level, but what I cherish most is the horses themselves, and each and every moment at the barn.

I started The Barn Dallas in my junior year at Southern Methodist University, where I am pursuing a degree in Advertising. I will be graduating this spring, and plan to continue this journey.

My vision is to create a brand that brings quality, comfortable, and stylish pieces that elevate the athlete's lifestyle. I often find myself wishing I packed more comfortable and functional clothes for horse shows, so I decided to create exactly that.
